As a Penguins season ticket holder, who has been paying the team for those tickets from either late February or early March of 2012 (because for some reason we have to combine playoff ticket sales with upcoming season ticket sales...well, we all know the reason), the greatest gift the league and the players could give me is this.

CANCEL THE SEASON. I AM SICK AND DISGUSTED WITH YOU ALL. I am also willing to take all of the money that SHOULD be being paid to STHs in interest (you know, for all that money the owners have and are not providing a product) and giving it to all of the workers at the arena who cannot make a living thanks to this stupidity. That would make a nice Christmas gift for those folks as well. Only so many beers can be sold at Lady Gaga, these poor vendors and front office people, some of whom I have known for over twenty years!...from the old and new arenas, Three Rivers Stadium and Heinz Field, Starlake/Post-Gazette Pavillion/First Niagara something (you know what I mean if you live in Pittsburgh). They ALL deserve better than this.

The fans are being cheated out of a game, these people are being cheated out of a living. I would probably even support replacement players at this point, only if the proceeds went to the families of the workers who are getting screwed by all this.

Oh, EK, your "stories" suck too. I believe about 3% of what you say...and I can get more than 3% from Twitter and TSN.

Yeah, I think the TV issue is one of the things that really bother me. Anyways, the Hawks have been my 2nd favourite team since the days of Warner, Krieg, Largent so I'll have to say I can't wait for tonight's game.

Huge game tonight. Hawks in Wildcard race with cowboys so forced to cheer for the niners.
I think the seahawks are a real darkhorse super bowl threat.

I dont think they are for real. They were "given" two games by the officials (Packers and Pats). With out those 2 wins they would be out of the playoff race.
