What????

Huberdeau has been amazing.

- prock

No, RNH and Strome have been amazing. Huberdeau doesn't suck but anyone on the team could put up those numbers playing with Nuge.

And this is solid comeback from the trailerpark.

Should one give a polite laugh when the inbreds make a "funny"?

You've got to be kidding me. Nugent Hopkins has scored all three of his goals on awesome feeds from Huberdeau. In the Germany game, floating into the centre, threaded a sweet pass down to RNH on his own in front of the net. That was a beauty pass. The Slovakia game, RNHs goal was off a Huberdeau takeaway in the corner, feeding out to RNH in the slot. And today, he drew three Americans to the sideboards, with a sweet little saucer out to RNH who was WIDE open.

ALL three of RNHs goals have come from nice plays from Huberdeau. If anyone could do it, why hasn't anyone else set up RNH?

Almost $168 million

We should seriously get into that kind of business.

No team in their right mind leaves RNH wide open.

I disagree with this. You should be able to take any kid available in the age group. Making NHL players ineligible serves only to punish the countries that have the best players. It should be the best on the best, shouldn't it? If one team has a player or two who are just that much better than everyone else, well, that's sports.
- Jeffmt

I agree with you the world junior championships is the best 20 and under kids period. If you want it to be a respected tournament you can't put restrictions on any country. If you do then it isn't a real world championships. The other words senior level (21 and up) doesn't carry the same respect because the best players are in the stanley cup or the KHL championship.....etc.

If this is an under 20 tournament then why is Grigorenko allowed to play at the age of 23.

Which makes it pretty incredible that Huberdeau managed to draw three of them to him then, doesn't it?

You're supposed to be the junior hockey know it all.... You haven't heard of the Grigorenko age forging allegations.

They have, quite possibly, the best chemistry of anyone on the team, maybe even the tournament. They've been lethal, and Huberdeau has certainly been a part of that. I wouldn't remotely even consider breaking them up.

Didn't some Oiler fans just start a thread somewhere tossing the idea of trading Yakupoo for him because they love the way they play together?

I do not follow the he said she said theory. Until there is positive proof that there is forgeing going on then I do not consider it.
There was a rookie in the NBA that was what 21-22 and he looked like he was 40, come to think of it he lasted like he was 40.(Greg Odin I believe was his name, Portland drafted him first overall and he played like 45 games.)

I never said Gaudreau was NEARLY on the same level.
- LetsGoBuffalo75

Gaudreau is doing great playing in the NCAA, so nice to see him play at this level. Big question about him has always been his size, but he's always putting the effort in.

Next year he should be in abbortsford so will be interesting see how he handles it

Agreed. Also, huberdeau looks weak. His little moves never work. I would like to see MacKinnon get more ice time, he should be playing with drouin.
- Arctic_AARDVARK

Weak?? I couldnt disagree more. Vital part of that line. Rnh has been great and deserves the hype, but schiefele and huberd have been great too

- hugefemale dog77

I never said he sucked.. He just looks weak on the puck. I watch that line the same as everyone else, I was just expecting a little more. He'll be a good NHL'er but to say he'll be better than Yak like others suggested is a stretch. Maybe I'll have a different view after they play Russia. Schiefele looks like Bambi skating out there. Strome will bring it home

- RichardHertz

It is Mark "the janitor" Jankowski. Chances of the dude making the NHL ever are about 4%, and that is compounding annually at 2%.
