He left the team in Russia due to medical reasons are the reports. - PLindbergh31
You're the first to speak of medical related reports of his leaving. The drama, according to Mr. Seravalli, is that Bryz left saying, "The lockout is almost over."
EDIT: Interesting, the article says the Russian reporter recanted the quote he sent to print. |

And I'll wait to see some information from some more credible sources then the KHL team he's playing with. |

So then you must not believe the reports coming out of Germany that Briere's wrist is injured. |

That injury has been widely reported.
Neither is anything to be worried about as far as I'm concerned. |

This article is also very vague about exactly what the nature of this injury is. It seems to suggest he's had this injury previously:
"We emphasize that the medical staff CSKA enjoyed the absolute confidence of the reason for the forced departure of goalkeeper is that he has turned to overseas doctors with the same injury before and was a successful therapy," the team said in a statement, according to Google translate.
So to what degree he's ailed one can only speculate. However, it seems to be common knowledge that players are being doubly careful about injuries while playing through the lockout, perhaps triply so with a conclusion seeming so close. |

Even if the injury is serious, no worries. That monster Leighton is on hand. |

If that's how you'd like to think about it. Here's another gut buster you can run with: Maybe they can sign Andy Reid as a stopgap, he's in perfect shape tofill in between the pipes. |

Reid has a dream team to coach, no time for hockey. |

Is it serious? We've got almost 3 weeks before the Season starts. I don't know about you, but I'm going to wait for the games to actually start before getting negative about the Flyers. |

I was supposed to be at that game yesterday, but was to sick to make the trip. I wish I'd gone, nothing like watching a good old fashioned massacre, especially when you don't care who wins. |

Eagles should be really pissed that they got blown out yesterday.. after all, it was to another non-playoff team. Sad really. |

I thought Bryz secured his release to head back to the states because he felt a deal was looming? |

And not everyone closes on Christmas, either. And I'm sure plenty of people will be working tomorrow as well.
Typically, when Christmas and New Year's fall on a weekend, most employers give either the following Monday or preceding Friday off, depending on when the holiday falls.
I felt Bill oversold that "not a national holiday" point and pointed it out. Many, many more people had off than were working that day. - johndewar

I'll take the 4th pick and the loss instead of the 6th pick and a win. |

With the Eagles losing, it was actually a win, win...Reid getting relieved of his duties and moving on...Fresh Start and a higher draft choice.
The best part about the Eagles season is that tickets were affardable and I was able to go to a game and have a little fun. Who cares who won... |
