ok, fair enough.....I know some player, scouts and coaches (people in the sabre boards know this) and to a man they all think their will be a season..thats what Im going on, not my gut but their info.

gotta say, poopty move by the owners on the HRR penalty thing. but it took a week to discover it? this past week of negotiations is starting to look like a complete sham. both sides still seem full of poop.

I for one hope they do figure it out in the 11th. The only prob is the fact that history shows that the league doesn't care and is willing to blow this whole thing up at the 11th hour. They did it before. All I heard before in 04-05 was how close they were.

I'd say the better team won......isn't that why we play the games? The US deserved it and I hope they beat the swedes Saturday morning.....oh and any one on the website is probably hoping for a season......just guessing.....

well sure the can if bettman wants, and it arrives one or two days before the drop dead date, never thought it would be done today or the next.

You may be right. I personally would love to see this whole thing fall apart and have the players and owners have to repair the damage they have caused. Fans deserve better than to have to go through this EVERY time a CBA is up.

Thats why I am hoping for a cancelled season.
