I for one hope they do figure it out in the 11th. The only prob is the fact that history shows that the league doesn't care and is willing to blow this whole thing up at the 11th hour. They did it before. All I heard before in 04-05 was how close they were.

You may be right. I personally would love to see this whole thing fall apart and have the players and owners have to repair the damage they have caused. Fans deserve better than to have to go through this EVERY time a CBA is up.

I like to think this whole negotiation has been scripted to this point.....the NHL new the day Fehr was brought in that they may face this scenario....and Fehr new that the league would be a tough opponent considering how both the NBA and NFL deals looked.....
Now both know there really is no point in a cancelation of the season....the damage probably would out weigh any thing that's probably on the table now.....in other words it ain't going to get much better to justify a meltdown.....relax all the lights are just about to come on and the dance is almost over......and if not....hey I'm just some dude on the internet
