I actually think it would be pretty good....every game would mean something....then the best hockey would Come....the playoffs.....not that I would want to ever see it again....but what the H E double hockey sticks.....I have been a fan to long not to care. - landros 2
i have been a fan for a long time too. They are just using us fans.
The hockey may be good but I really dont want to show support
for either side at this point.
I have season tickets for the Rangers and unfortunately I have no choice but to
put up the cash. Theres a long list (at least there used to be) behind me waiting to
get their hands on tickets.
I think by next Sept I'll be ready to watch again |

I pay for seasons in TO.....so I feel your pain....at least I save on playoff tickets....I miss watching the games so I am someone that will continue to pay.... Not that I disagree that fans are the ones that suffer.... |

Yup...it was fair value; a pair of mitts for a bag of pucks. I'm just not sure which team got what. - Hockey_Hoser
Jamal Mayers was run out of town.
The guy contributed absolutely nothing on the ice, but had the gall to demand more ice time, and then complain to the media after he was laughed out of Wilson's office. |

Yes Jamal the JOKE Myers. He wasn't an important piece in the Phanuef trade, he was a throw in for quantity purposes. |

Wow that's hardcore to pay out for Leaf seasons as a Flyers fan....although I imagine the games you don't go to you can flip for a profit so it works out. |

It's not that the sides will get together at 10 a.m. Friday. That is when mediation will resume. NHL will be at its office. NHLPA separate

It will, final sprint, both sides will go all out until they are forced to make the deal next week. Deal by sometimes next week, goes to a vote, deal agreed to by the 11th (signed), camp open on the 12th, season starts on the 19th. |

(frank)in right, Sir.
REAL professionals, unlike these clowns appointed as leaders in these negotiations...people that ACTUALLY CARED about the sport they represent, would have acted with this urgency in August.
But no. We get to enjoy this circus with the added bonus of knowing we could/should be watching hockey right now.
Bunch of jerkoffs.
Once upon a time, more specifically 6 days ago, I had plans to visit good friends in New Jersey. I live in Pennsylvania, so it was a decent hike- about a 2 hour drive East over the Ben Franklin Bridge. My plans were to leave directly from a Doctor's appointment I had at 9 am that morning. So, I get there, wait in the waiting room, and the nurse- we'll call her Emily- came and got me. When she and the Doctor, Justin, both came in and talked to me, Emily was having trouble finding prescription papers.
Justin looked at her and said, "I told you to refill the clipboards and machines last night...."
Emily said "I was going to do it but it just kept getting later and later and I guess I ended up forgetting."
So, Emily and Justin and some other doctors and nurses, for the next 20 minutes, were frantically running around looking for extra prescription papers to use while the people behind the desks were trying to distribute/restock them. Meanwhile, I'm sitting there annoyed, knowing that if these people were a little more organized and took care of silly little things that they knew and realized needed to be taken care of a day or so in advance, when it made sense to, I would be heading east on 76 on a trip I was excited for to see my friends.
Finally, everything was settled, and a rather annoyed me was eastbound roughly 45 minutes later than what I had anticipated.
I see some parallels here. That is all. |
