Fans on TSN and XM Radio NHL Station seem to support the 90/10 theory.

Folks are having a hard time making ends meet and cant understand Players who make at least 1/2 a Million dollars (lowest salary?) crying about being underpaid.

I can understand pensions for players...... But, have them start at age 55 -60 like pensions for working stiffs like us start. I dont see the need for 30 -40 yr old ex NHL players taking a pension for 30 or 40 years. They are young enough to find gainful employment or invest. Their name alone should be good for something.

When i first saw this, i thought it was a joke that he got suspended, but if you watch it in slow motion (the end of the video clip) you can kinda see Reinhart looking in that direction and his stick following up high. Regardless of whether he meant it or not, he got a double minor for high sticking the game prior. You as the player are responsible for your stick. You should never be wacking an opposing player in the face with the shaft of your stick.
