Not disputing the essence of the article, but it is from Brooks--he of the "endlessly arguing with John Tortorella fame" and easily the most pro-player writer out there. He is quite often quite nauseating (he was especially so during the 2005 lockout). He takes everything the players say at face value and regularly casts the owners in the most negative light possible.

What if the end game is to end any games before the game end has an ending that ends all games?

Also, why are you reading articles that have already been cleared up. The PA have had the changes highlighted for over a week. It's their own stupid fault they chose not to read it.

You realize Brooks is the PA's puppet...right? He's been the most bias reporter out there since day one.

He has repeatedly said the owners were putting pressure on Bettman to get this done and not lose another season. He is pro big market teams and what Bettman is trying to do to them.

He is as much anti Bettman as he is pro players.

Yeah I did, the players yesterday accused the Owners of pulling a fast one on the HRR....

However, if you would read my post, it was confirmed by way more reliable sources that the changes were made last week and were marked and highlighted in the 300 page proposal from the Owners.

Watching hockeycentral at noon, they're saying during the last meeting the players argued with the owners for 20 minutes about the towels they're supplied with on the road......... WOW

As you just stated, you hate Bettman and therefor it's normal that anything pro players fits what you want to hear, doesn't make it fair, honest and not the PA's propaganda.

Brooks is 100% pro player, anti Bettman and will never look for the truth when he reports on this situation, take what he says with a grain of salt. Same with the 100% pro owner reporters.
