It was a bit of a misunderstanding.

The NHL had highlighted the changes.

The NHLPA had thought the NHL had crossed them out with a yellow marker.

You are lucky you clarified the time, as of 4:05 the players were in the midst of the disclaimer, but at 4:07 the league countered with a "I double dog dare you". The players decided not to and have signed the deal. Hockey starts tomorrow and to make it up to the fans.....free lollipops for all...........

What kind of flavour may determine how negotiations will go. If the NHL offered the players PLAIN tarts that means things are not going well. However if they offered the players cherry flavour, than we may indeed have hockey Jan 19. We need to find out ASAP what flavour was offered.

Should be the lasr season of How I met your Mother. I agree, the show must end. It's time for TED to reveal the secret. If the show goes past this season, people just won't care anymore. Every successful long running show knows when it's time to say goodbye.

Yup, I think it went too far as it is. Comedies usually go downhill after Season 3/4. Which is OK, as long as they pull the plug by 5 or 6. There are some exceptions, but few and far in between.

Lots of good shows last an average of 7 years, but the great shows usually ends at 9 or 10 years.
