i'd be very interested, there's your carle replacement - Don'tForgetTocchet
The obvious concern is commitment level. But if he could be had on a one year deal for small money, I'd be more comfortable with Ranger than the current 3rd pair candidates...and also, with Meszaros still being hobbled a bit, Ranger could take on a bigger role.
I'm not sure if he wants to stay in the GTA, though...I've seen that suggested.

I fully expected alot more injuries this year with a condensed rivalry driven schedule, depth is going to be an issue for alot of teams.
Different situations imo. During the game it's the heat of battle. Coaches probably don't meet with the media til about half hour after the game is over. Plenty of time to compose yourself and handle yourself with some decor of professionalism.

Torts didn't bother me so much. He usually does, but not that time.
The thing is, in general, I have hated the Rangers more but I have respected them more.
sorry if i in any way made it brutal in here. wasnt my intentions at all. was legitimately just trying to talk hockey, not to offend anyone - stayinthefnnet

Agreed. Except I predict there will be less injury talk here than there was during the Foppa foot season.

Don't be a stranger. We Flyers fans are more likely to turn on our own than on an opponent's fan. I didn't see you post anything incendiary.

It will most certainly change as the Season goes on. But right now, I don't care who plays, or anything like that. I just want to watch a Flyers NHL game.

I have heard the NHL Center Ice package will be free this season. Certainly a gesture the NHL should provide to mend some fences with the fans.

Appreciate it! I know some people arent happy unless they are instigating with others.
Even aside from any rivalry, I just think the pens and flyers both have many of the more interesting players and pieces to discuss as far as hockey in general goes. Love seeing what flyers fans think should be the direction of the team with their current roster

Exactly. I imagine I'm not going to be as hostile to other teams as much as in years past because I want hockey. I find I'd rather talk puck with fans of "heated rivals" than talk other sports with Philly fans of those sports. Especially Crims.

I also hear they're putting the comma in "Thank You, Fans" this time.

I heard that too, but I can't imagine the NHL has the power to do that.
