I know. I think the issue was I was low on my doses. I feel much more centered now. - funmaster18
It's like tuning into WIP and expecting a Flyers lovefest; it just ain't gonna happen here.
Glad you've got your head on, um, 'straight' now.

I don't care what issues currently surround the team, we have hockey now. This is going to be a season where I sit back and enjoy the ride. With a shortened season, I don't feel it's worth getting into why they are going to do and such. I've spent too much time hoping for a lockout resolution that I'm not going to tarnish the feeling of joy I'm currently experiencing. I'm jut happy to have it back and will see what happens as the events unfold. - funmaster18
Well said and I agree. |

indeed. just after Gibson so mindfully informed the cop that Gary Cooper, but not the Gary Cooper that is dead, should be cited for having a load not properly tied down me and @hammarby's all time fav. |

John Smallwood is a tool. He hates hockey almost as much as Marcus Hayes. |

“London was the most persistent (OHL) team,” said Stolarz, adding that the Windsor Spitfires also made a push to sign him this summer. “The Flyers were great throughout the process, but in the end they wanted what was best for me. Whatever I decided, they were fine with.”

I love Bouwmeester and would love to add him to the team. But with the cap going down next year, it's probably not feasible. - bradleyc4
You could very well be correct. Again, Bouwmeester Isn't my first choice but Meszaros Isn't 100 percent, Carle Is gone and Timonen Could retire after this season. Losing Pronger leaves a spot for a number 1 defense wide open. Giroux is due for a big raise. I just like Bouwmeester possible upside but I view him as a big, yet soft player. I like his age though and feel he can compliment this group, rather then be this team's corner stone Dman. In my opinion it would have been nice if the Flyers were able to draft a defenseman in the last draft. There were many if they could have moved up somehow. |

I have to wonder exactly how much time he's going to see this season in London. All the reports on him stress how raw he is. |

Damn! They waived Baille. That's pretty cold. Hopefully he'll find a place to play. |

I watched him play his first game this season. He was shaky to start but settled in pretty nice. He covers a lot of net, Hopefully he pressures Patterson for starts. |

I couldn't load the story on my phone. Surprised that they waived Bailie. That's good for Stolarz. He had some issue overplaying shots at the rookie camp, but he's a huge kid. |

He's an over age player maybe an NHL team will sign him to a contract. |

Bouwmeester at this point doesn't have any upside. He's 29 years old. What you see is what you get. And for 6.68M he better be far more then a compliment.

I wonder who's available (defenseman) for trade, and the team trading would accept only picks in return.
Does anyone know how many draft picks we got for next year. |

What we have seen is 2 different players on 2 different teams when it comes to Bouwmeester. So I disagree with you |
