Though I won't put anything past the Flyers brass anymore, this screams of a made up rumor to put pressure on other teams in on Luongo. Since the Flyers do have a reputation as a team that will surprise, they're the perfect target of such a rumor to stir the pot.

No I completely agree. Its a ton of fun. Talking and debating and what not is also fun. Its just crazy too lol. I am just dying to get hockey back.. cant wait for that first game!

If trading both Schenns was an option i think that deal would have been made.

I also would have traded Schenn+Couterier+picks..

I would have given almost anything they asked for, short of Giroux.

Webers are rare. I'm also not a fan of B. Schenn. His cap hit and what he brings to the table TODAY don't match up for me.

But this is all moot.. didn't happen and i'm left to cry in the dark at night all by myself...

Aside from Giroux and Jake this offense would be barren in 3 years time.
