Does anyone think Nashville will buy out Weber after this 1/2 season? - Jimmygrazz
I know his salary is a burden but I can't see them matching then buying him out. That would make zero sense. |

I think those two could be serious trouble for other teams. Voracek got a ton of attention last year in the playoffs. Elias even going as far to say he was the second best player on the team. - jak521
I would prefer to see Briere and Voracek together. Briere is the closest thing we have to a proven sniper and is more likely to adjust his game to compliment Jake. I could be wrong, just my opinion. |

When JVR scores 50 goals and Schenn is still the fourth Defenseman on the Flyers or has been traded again I'll call you and we'll have beers. Many Beers. But not in Pittsburgh. - mayorofangrytown
JVR will never ever get to even 30.... Book it. He is a lazy (frank). Potential is there but work ethic is not. |

I think Voracek is brings something very similar to what Jagr brought. I also think Jagr's puck controlling skills were a great compliment to G's game.. and allowed him to really find open space. Voracek should do the same.. |

Well I wish chemistry was automatic and goal scoring came natural to every player. When Giroux first started playing for the Flyers, him and Briere were suppose to soul mates. They were suppose to stay together and it never happened. Voracek I do not believe plays like Jagr at all. Jagr is heavy and carry players on his back while he stick handles with one arm. Jake will have to come along way to reach this level. |

Maybe we watch two different players? Jakes puck control skills are superb, hell, border line dominant at times. |

Voracek is clearly a gifted player but until he convincingly scores 20 plus goals and 50 plus points in two seasons, I would rather upgrade if possible. I just don't like his price tag. With Bouemeester, at least he's done things for his own personal stats to fool us all. For the moment, we are still waiting on that break out season for Jake. I feel it should have happened by now. - SuperSchennBros
Can't afford to upgrade with another high priced player at Wing. Need to save those cap assets to upgrade the defense. Every player develops at his own pace. I'm all for giving the kid a chance. |

I think they'd be good on a line also. And it's another option. But right now Jake is the best pick for the top line. We'll see how it works out. |

Yep! All the kid does in bust it every summer to get stronger and fill out his frame. His rise to second overall pick in the draft was built on long walks on the beach, milkshakes and cupcakes.
Gotcha. |

Voracek can control and pass the puck well. And he brings an element that Jagr didn't bring. And that's speed. Voracek can play a high tempo game and can forecheck better then Jagr. |

I never said they weren't. What I am saying is Jagr is on his own level, even at his age. |

when he wanted to play he was a beast, most of the time time he was cherry picking doing circles between the red line and the opponents blue line waiting for a shot at a breakaway from a 2 line pass |

I wouldnt mind Schenn, but Id rather see him with Simmonds and maybe Couts.. all depends on how things shake out and how they plan on using him...

I want to see what Brayden Schenn can do with Giroux myself. I want to see them both together and apart. |

Have to switch Couturier and Briere there. Fedetenko and Read are better defensive players and are a better fit with Couturier. And I'd personally move Fedetneko to the 4th line and put Talbot with Couturier. |

Sure. I have no doubt Giroux and Voracek we'll play together at somepoint. They may even start the season together but I'm not gonna guarantee they'll work. I happen to believe the future of this team lies within Giroux and Brayden Schenn but I could also be wrong. |

Yea I agree.. I just think it would be interesting to see an S-C-S line.. they would be a bear to play against..
I wonder who the 11th & 12th forwards will be... I assume Rinadlo and? |
