I think I trust bruno at this point more than lilja.
Also betting the shelley doesnt fetch the popcorn - nails
It really doesn't bother me at all on who plays the 4th line Left Winger. Could be one of Shelley, Wellwood or Sestio. I'm fine with any of these options. |

Wow, Meszaros an option to be in? The defense does look more threatening with that one signing today. I question the Flyers keeping Laughton. I question them even more by having him on the second line. No Briere to start the season, that's a huge loss but I assume he won't be out long. Looks like I was wrong about Rusty centering the 4th line. If Rusty really did play his best again Malkin's team over seas and Couturier against Malkin in the playoffs, I would have thought the 2 of them together would have made for a pretty much shutdown line.
Any new numbers on players of note? Is Bruno wearing 27? - SuperSchennBros
my guess would be that they are trying to just put him right in danny b's spot, so none of the other lines are altered when briere comes back
pure speculation on my part, however |

If Meszaros can go, I'd rather have Gervais dressed than Foster. Mesz isn't going to be moving real fast and combine him & Foster and we'll relive the days of Hatcher & Rathje in slow motion. - Jsaquella
Good point. I prefer Gervais over Lilja, I would like to see Foster given a chance, but the Flyers will need some mobility on the blueline for sure. |

wouldn't be shocked if laughton plays with the big club while danny b is out - FlyerMike18
It's possible. I have a suspicion that Briere is going to be out longer than a week. Hope I'm wrong. |

I haven't seen much of Gervais. But I saw plenty of Lilja last year, and what I saw I didn't like. |

I have had the same thoughts but if Briere really can't go, should they really go with Laughton, when you have other options, that still need time to grow within that position as well (Schenn, Read). |

Fedotenko is wearing 26, Gervais 27, Talbot 25, Foster is wearing 3, Laughton is 21 |

First day of training camp. I wouldn't think those line combos are written in stone.

I think we've learned from Goalie Gate 2013 that everything is panic-inducing and worthy of needless debate. |

Just saw that Brian Boucher is back in the organization.
Was always a big fan.
Great team player, and can get hot for stretches. For the salary I love him as a backup.
If it wasnt for his injury early in the playoffs a few years ago he would more than likely have been the starting goaltender against the Hawks in the Finals. |

I don't care that Leighton is back up. I also don't expect much from the Flyers this year.
Flyers are a ways out of winning the cup. |
