That day would become a holiday for most Islander fans. Paid day off and all - Cptmjl
I am banking on that. He should sell the team no reason for him to won it anymore. I heard China is going to start a league he should buy into that

There already is one. He is being held out of the KHL game, as per the agreement. - eichiefs9
“The KHL says they will met with NHL reps to figure out a solution,” said Yahoo’s Dmitry Chesnokov on Twitter. “But for now he cannot play in the KHL.”
Chris Johnston of Sportsnet report that the KHL asked the NHL for permission to allow Visnovsky to play with Slovan, but as of that point the KHL hasn’t recieved a response. The Islanders and the NHL will certainly not allow Visnovsky to play for Slovan, so the issue is whether the two parties on opposite sides of the ocean can come to some kind of agreement. |

Well they obviously didn't for the last week or so since the lockout has ended. But, for whatever reason, it seems that now the KHL is standing by their agreement with the NHL. So, and it's way early to say this so take it with a grain of salt, it appears as if Lubo is going to have a choice of either not playing hockey anywhere, or playing for the Islanders in the NHL. - eichiefs9
Awesome. Hopefully we do the right thing and let him rot. I've had enough of these primadonnas |

If they do come to an agreement I wonder if it actually will be something that betters the team or Wang? |

I'd rather have four first round picks than Subban. Especially when those first rounders are the Isles' picks, which are likely to all be in the top ten. - Jethro09
Or maybe offer Montreal- Reinhardt, Visnovski (providing that he would agree to come back to the NHL) and a #1 pick... maybe that would be enough...the Isles would have to offer Subban JT money... |

hahahahahahahahahaha i asked for 1 trade over the years that have been made. you say "barker".
1) i assume Cam Barker?
2) he was signed, not traded
3) if he were to sign with the isles, hes a 3rd pairing dman...tops!!
4) if the difference between cam barker and someone like joe finley, radek martinek, or thomas hickey results in these meltdowns, well you got some things to work out.
....hahah....cam barker...next time just resort to name calling, those who follow half the poop you say may actually forget what is actually being discussed and will continue to listen to you.
in the mean time ill talk about actual hockey. enjoy naptime. - LetsGoIsles
Ok, during my nap I came across another one for you who would be immediate help. Mark Fistric, NHL caliber Dman plays with an edge. That was a trade, would you like anymore? |

fistric would have been a nice addition but wasn't able to make the stars top 6, so they made him available. we don't have a second rounder to trade and edmonton's 3rd was better than ours last year. I would have liked to have seen him on the isles |

I've heard Garth in the past mention building a team with good character players. Seems to me LV is lacking in that department. Do what you gotta do legally and move on. Find someone who wants to play here.

So, as others reported, Gomez and Redden and any player for that matter can get an "accelerated compliance buyout" before Saturday's opener
Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
Teams such as NYR and MTL would take full cap hit on those players this season. But no cap hit next season.

Here comes Gomez & Redden on 1 yr deals for about 2 million each to offset Vis

"If" he ends up reporting, would you want him in your lockeroom? To me, he's a distraction even if he ends up reporting. No one man should be bigger than the team......the damage is done. |

Question is, whats the advantage for the Habs and the Rags to buyout those guys now, as opposed to the end of the season? Im not sure i see one..

But LV isnt coming because of personal reasons......it has nothing to do with the islanders. RIGHTTTTTTTTT, and OJ was innocent.
