Why should the Isles pay someone who cant work due to hurting themselves working elsewhere?

Because in the Isles situation you cannot do anything that looks small. Once the team is a winner and can attract players to play here they can then play hardball. Isles do have a point since they did not get hurt playing for them but sometimes it's not worth it.

Why are people made at Garth for being in yr 5 of rebuilding any not trading. Did pens or Blackhawks make big trades to win there cups? No. They drafted built team then when time was right they added some missing pieces thru free agency.
Edm has been rebuilding longer than we have. And edm fans are super excited. Why. U need to see the forest for the trees. Toronto makes trades every year and hasn't won a cup in 45 years and missed playoffs since 2004. And that's in one of biggest hockey cities in NHL.

This team will excel when last link to old guard is gone. That buying out dp. They should sit him out this season like habs are doing with Gomez and buy him out. B/c under new CBA. If he gets hurt, u can't buy out injured player. Who here thinks dp won't get hurt? No I.

They added players on top ot the ones they drafted. Neither team has solely players they drafted and the ones acquired were not all signed during free agency during their cup run. There teams also showed improvement, this team has taken steps backwards. Kind of a bad analogy

Unfortunately I don't think that will change with Brooklyn? Wang and Snow are just who they are no matter what excuses make for these guys and their behaviour. What you see is what you get. As far as this I can see both sides as far as what little I know about the rules involving the whole thing.

First let me say that i like your idea of releasing petrov for the rights to Visnovsky.

Secondly, i think you're missing the point as far as the trading thing goes. The reason why the trading is important is this teams inability to lure UFAs. Being that the need for vet leadership is needed on any competitive team, the only way to add that is via trade. The isles success rate at signing UFA's is slim to none.

Lastly, Wang has an affinity for Rick Dipietro and as a result will not tell him to sit home. I think the last link to the old guard is the coliseum and the fact that the opposing teams stay at that rubish of a hotel called the marriot when they come here.

But we arent the only team doing this.. or the first for that matter.

I read a few things that said he had lost interest in playing in the US one time on russianprospects I believe before the news of his mom came out? Not saying his mom being sick is not a factor of course but I read a few conflicting reports.
