That is what looks so bad. They do nothing to DP. Never think of sending him to the minors to prove himself and they get tough with Bailey and JJ?

So... Komi, Gomez, Redden, DP are just a few of the names all eligible to be bought out with this new compliance buyouts.....

In the new Collective Bargaining Agreement agreed to recently by the NHL and the NHLPA, clubs were permitted two "compliance" buyouts to take place during the 2013 and/or 2014 offseasons in order to ease the transition to a lower salary cap.

The new agreement allows teams to use one of those compliance buyouts prior to the start of this season. However, the player's full salary for the 2012-13 season still would count against the team's cap.

Players that are bought out will become unrestricted free agents, eligible to sign with any team."

Guys if bailey and JJ weren't suspended, the isles would have to send someone down tomorrow. Now they have an extra spot available (visnovsky when he reports) and they can get a longer look at strome,Reinhardt and not have to send hickey or finley through waivers.

Does anyone think that Garth snow, capuano or weight want him anywhere near this team? Only thing I can think of is that they bought out yashin and I was very surprised at that move.
