From 2012, and seeing the isles need for D, Johnny Oduya, Nick Schultz, Marek Zidlicky, Pavel Kubina.......all could have filled a void here. Being that you love names.......there's 4 names that would have helped our need for defense.

i get why people are mad. im not happy the isles lose.

i DO understand how they are rebuilding, and i see the direction the team is going.

If I or someone else was trying to write a story on it, imagine having as my source: "A guy on Hockeybuzz has a friend who talked to a former teammate..." I think we need a higher standard before getting into steroid stuff. This isn't saying a guy is lazy, or a bad teammate, or arrogant, or overpaid, etc. It's accusing someone of cheating and doing something illegal.

zidlicky? On February 24, 2012, Zidlicky was traded to the New Jersey Devils from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for Kurtis Foster, Nick Palmieri, Stephane Veilleux, a Washington Capitals' 2nd round draft pick in 2012 and a conditional pick in 2013...youd want to trade all of that for a guy with a combined -45?? (not to mention he gave the rangers headaches trying to get him to sign in the us)

nick schultz? the guy who since 2008 is a combined -28?


oduya? was traded in a deal for ilya kovalchuk...isles cant match that and wouldnt want them to.
