I think that is a stretch.. he is a supreme player... one of the best no doubt.. but I would never classify him as a sniper. Hell, he only cracked 50 goals 3 times in 19 seasons. - jak521
I felt the same way. However, it was interesting when they played Anaheim last year with him and Teemu in the game. I always figured Teemu had more goal since he was more of a sniper and Jags was more of a playmaker. Turns out I was wrong. Just rechecked and, as of right now, Jagr has 2 more goals in 5 more GP (was a wider margin last season). That said, I'd still consider him a playmaker, but he's as good a goal scorer as there is not named Mike Bossy or Brett Hull. |

I know, and the fact that you keep bringing this up in here tells me you don't care what others think of you, I respect that.
Not like BulliesPhan87, who tries to say 87 is his birth year. I see right through that guy. - canadianpenfan
Thanks! Most of the people on here, while being faithful & passionate Flyers' fans, don't let bias blind them. Believe it or not, most of HB users seem to know their stuff. It's a lot different on Twitter. |

I don't dislike G getting the C, but I personally would favor DannyB gettin it...Has been a fundamental part of the org. for the last 6 years and I can see him still producing into his early 40s like a ray whitney...We all know how clutch he is in the playoffs and much the team relies on him. It would give em a extra boost and motivation to be even better |

Not crazy about Voracek on the 3rd line. I'd rather see him with Giroux, or Briere when he comes back and is ready to play. I think Voracek has an offensive upside, and I think playing with Giroux would be good for him. But I understand the defensive reasons also. Good to have balance. - MJL
Excellent move giving Schenn the opportunity with Giroux and Hartnell. I suspect with the skill level of Schenn that he will blossom. Skilled guys need to play together. Jake can quarterback the powerplay and the Couturier line with Voracek on it will probably move up the ladder and take over line two. Either way it looks like three scoring lines and one pesky fourth line. Schenn can pass and score while Jake has trouble burying the biscuit. He seems to get robbed all the time because he shoots right into them instead of picking a corner. Just sayin |

Hi Inja - jak521
I think a TON of people agree with you (I know I do) and I also think people didn't take this into account when they said fans wouldn't be back. So far, the big markets are having more fans than they did last year come out to cheer on the team. As the saying goes "out of sight, out of mind". Now the NHL is back in sight. |

Schenn's got a pretty sweet one-timer from the right side of the ice (a lot like Richie's), so he should get some easy goals that way if he sticks at RW w/ Giroux for any stretch of time.
Voracek bumped down to play with Couturier isn't such a bad thing, IMO, both in the interest of offensive balance, and in the interest of making it easier for that line to enter the zone with possession.
Lavi divides playing time pretty evenly between his top-9 forwards at ES, so no matter where any of them play, they're bound to see plenty of opportunities. |

I wouldnt be surprised to see Couts and Voracek matched up with the likes of Crosby/Malkin, Richards/Nash, Koval..oh wait. I seriously think that line will match up with most 1st lines. |
