He is accurate and quick with his shot . Can't do that too often in the crease getting the crap beat out of ya . He does score a lot there regardless.

True. Seeing as how he has no contract right now. Well, not an NHL one anyway. I'd be a bit concerned about the fact that he's content to play in Russia than sign a contract in the NHL at the moment. I'm not sure what his asking price is, but it's not like Colorado is up against the cap and can't work him in under it.

That's why they need to utilize him both ways. Think about it, some teams give up goals in certain areas. Use that knowledge to your advantage. If it's a team that has trouble clearing the crease, park him there. If it's a team that is good at that, put him on the half wall and try and draw everyone out from the crease so he can get the slapper in.

Plan is to have HBSL this year, should be hearing more in a week or so. Feb kickoff date.

After seeing him in the scrimmage yesterday, I agree that it's the dumbest idea ever.

He did go and stand in front of the net, but that's about all he can do. He stands there looking around like he has no clue what's going on

If I had to guess he's making a prorated $4mil per over there. His rumored out clause allows him to leave if he gets a more lucrative NHL deal.

The worry I would have as any NHL club, is whether or not he doesn't decide to go back over there next time he needs a contract because he's not happy with what's being offered.

I know this season is different because of the lockout, but he signed a 2 year contract there. I don't think anyone else did that.
