Even when I was growing up we could never go as an entire family. Hopefully something can be done with the 2nd hand ticket sites (stubhub, etc.). At least with HD tv today it's almost just worth it to watch it at home.

Unfortunately sports are continuously making it impossible for a low income or even middle income household to attend a game. The cost of taking a family of 4 is insane. Do I blame teams for the cost of tickets....no, it's a business, but where will it be 5 years from now, $150 a ticket for 300 level?

Yeah Kyle , mine go from 28 -13 . They all hockey because Dad/Daddy does but I am not rich by any means to afford that kind of hit to the bank account.

I hope one I can get the whole family to a game. One day.

That person aside, I think Brennan represents some decent trade bait for a team lacking on defense. Especially if they need an offensive style player. I really do not think the return will be much, but he could bring a mid round pick/prospect.

Its supply and demand buddy, plain and simple. If the tickets are expensive and hard to get, that = team making money, healthy team, healthy market. Back in 03' when they were bankrupt the tickets were dirt cheap readily available. I'll take a healthy team any day. Besides the game at home in HD with Rick? How can you go wrong?

That's just it. Two years ago I was trying to get rid of some Toronto tickets and we couldn't get anyone to buy them. It's all just because of the lockout and all that. Give it time. Things will even out again.
