I bought mine in 04/05 for $400, when the lockout was finally over how could they raise the price after having people's money for well over a year? You might be right that they lowballed it though. Like I said not complaining just saying in 8 seasons my price has gone up 260% and that's a lot IMO. You don't think so?

You can't expect the team just to leave money on the table though. Season ticket holders are still making a profit in the secondary market despite the price increase. A large part of the value of Sabres tickets is someone is always willing to buy them, at a profit of up to 20% usually on stubhub or craigslist. So if the public is willing to pay more than you had to, what does that tell you? The team is still leaving money on the table. Supply - Demand.

In 05/06 the Sabres had a payroll of $29 mil. Now it's $65 mil. More salary=higher ticket prices.

It stinks but in order to stay a viable franchise the two have to go hand in hand. Otherwise the team is bleeding money every year.

Im not criticizing the move. In fact we the fans are the cause of it. Its natural. We wanted a big spending owner, we got it. I jumped online and bought tickets yesterday like everone else because I beleive its worth it.

Now my brother on the other hand, who moved to Tampa, bought a 12 game pack in Tampa. I warned him though, you cant get your money back if you cant go like you can in Buffalo.
