If I moved out of the area and there was a hockey team, I would go to their games. But you can bet that when the Sabres roll into town I cheer for them instead. And of course I would want them to have the better season as well, but I'm going to support the team in the area I'm living in if there is one.

They are 260% of the original cost. If they increased 160% it would be 16$ Additional 10$ is 200% of the Original figure.
10$= 100%
6$= 60%
160% is 16$
26$= 260%

The original cost was 400, the new cost is 1066. What is the pecentage increase? 2.6 times as much or a 260% increase. If it were 160% my cost would be 640 or 1.6 times.

I guess it depends on how you were exposed to the sport in the first place. I grew up watching whatever game my Uncle could find. Sometimes, unfortunately, it was the Maple Leafs. So I grew up a fan of the sport. The Sabres were just always the team we supported the most because it's where we live.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'll be a Sabres fan no matter where I live, but I will definitely attend other games as well because I just enjoy the sport itself.

6$= 60%
160% is 16$
26$= 260%

Its really simple math. You dont include the original price you're paying $10 as part of the increase.

The math argument, you guys are counting the original 10$ as a part of the increase.

By your guys math, if they charged $10 last year, and then charged $10 this year, you're counting that as a 100% increase.

You can't count the orginal cost.

if they were $10 last year and they are raised 100% that would be $20. If we are already at 20$ at only 100% increase how can $26 be a 260% increase? It cant.
