Agree. On paper the lines seem to have some balance though I'm sure Q will juggle p huck out of them so it may be hard to tell what they'll like a month from now.

I did like the Rozsival signing a lot as he was a guy besides Ekman Larssen for PHX who stood out on their defense to me in the playoffs...blocked a ton of shots and always seemed to be in one of our fwds faces.

Looks like Leafs have traded to Lombardi to PHX for conditional pick. I knew they had to move a Centre at some point before the season. I would have hoped Stan put in a call to Nonis about Steckel... he'd be great on the 4th line and PK. Would take a lot of pressure off of Toews and wouldn't cost much.

I would have loved McClement but Leafs had him lined up - as insignificant of a move it would have been he could have really helped. Check out this story on him:

Two possibilities:

Due to his contract status he might have to be re-enry waivered to be brought up. Although that seems really unlikely. Or they have made a deal and added a goalie. If they made the deal that was close over the weekend (or similar—which was a defenseman for a goalie) then they might need to make room by losing a goalie.
