That is never going to happen.

It's actually already has happened. During last years playoff series. Sid was relegated to the second unit.

How do you use your PS3 for Gamecenter? I am definitely going to do that... I only use mine for gaming/movies.

I believe there is a free downloadable app. Unfortunately I dont think the reviews on it have been stellar.

That was a unique situation with Sid in and out of the lineup for a year and a half stretch. He is back and that isnt going to happen now.

The gamecenter widget is free. The quality is not good. The image is slightly distorted.

It is best on iPad or the computer

Have you tried hooking your laptop up to the TV? I just got a connection for mine and I am interested to see how it translates over.

That's one thing I haven't done. But we had the TV based subscription last year so wasn't necessary.

I'm not bothering with either packages this season. Not for a condensed year. I'll catch the Penguins when they are on CBC, NBC or TSN. I always get the full Oiler schedule anyways. At the same time with the amount of evening shifts I am working now I would miss a large percentage of the games anyways.

With so many Pens games on National TV and my schedule, I'm passing too. My son, though, is pestering me for it so he can watch the Sabers.

I agree. All Sabre fans should be grounded. And have their internet taken away.

A feel good piece but a good one none the less. I think he does have high expectations for himself and is an overachiever in anyone's book. Glad he is on our side. Bring on Philly.

I feel really good about this team. For the last 2 years, we haven't had that 1-2 punch that crosby and malkin gave us when they won the stanley cup. Hopefully teams tire out their top 2 D pairings against Crosby and Malkin and leaves Sutter and the 3rd line with mismatches. I think Sutter can hit 40 points in a full season

My biggest problem with this is the same reason it wouldn't work before. It was exposed the last 2 weeks of the season and in the playoffs. We have to have 2 defensemen out there. Short handed goals and penalties taken while on the PP are unacceptable. Letang and Depres/Niskanen should be the go to for the PP. have to separate teams for it, splitting Crosby and Neal up if necessary. No need to be greedy when it gets you exposed to stretch passes and short handed goals.

I also feel good. I just hope our uptempo style does not create too much distance between the forwards and D. That predictable flaw has been a problem. However a shortened season with uptempo won't grind them down as much which is a plus. If teams are playing a trap we need to get it in and crash the net. This team sometimes thinks it's pretty but the truth is they do best when they get their noses dirty and get it to the net.

Sorry to those who weren't able to get into the fantasy hockey league. I capped it at 16 teams. Any more than that and Jeff Zatkoff would suddenly become a hot property.

The draft is Friday night at 8:00 PM, try to show up at least five minutes early (if possible).

If you can't make it, please let me know so I can invite others.

So are the Habs drafting MacKinnon or Jones?

I'd rather have Malkin at the point with Crosby, Neal and Kunitz working down low.

Interesting....

Looks like teams can do their buyouts right away. Maybe call it the Gomez addendum....

Redden as well.

Anyone see something about Ovie getting hurt in practice today? TSN had a vidoe but crapped out when launching. Would be a rough way for him to start after a frustrating year last year for him

I agree with this, you might be able to get away with shorties in the regular season. However they destroy a team in the playoffs. I'd rather go 0 for 5 than 2 for 5 with 2 shorties against. They are game/momentum changers. Blysma needs to get this through his head.

Anyways glad hockey is back, still don't think I can spend any money on the season. Well maybe center ice if the price is cheap.
