I find it laughable he's using his son's health as a reason why he won't come to Long Island when he's still on the road with his KHL team. Get stuffed LV. You're not at home anyway, so what's the difference?

I also liked seeing Hickey's response and hoping he gets a shot, although I still would believe that at best he'll be depth for the farm team. It doesn't hurt having another couple younger defensemen around though (with finley)

I'm still of the opinion that if LV shows, plays well and keeps his mouth shut for the remainder of the season that the team will embrace him and he'll be a big help to our top four. I just don't buy his excuses and his attitude stinks.

Three more days until the season gets underway - no matter how much these threads turn into attacks back and forth, the minute the season starts we'll all be watching the games and cheering for the same team. Ordering center ice today, maybe by the time they're in Brooklyn I'll be able to come see a home game. No visit to Vancouver this season, so I won't be going to any local games here.
