I didn't ask you if you liked Nabakov. I asked you if he acts the way you think Vis would who is in the same situation as Nabakov was in last year - Vukota
The situations are different, being that one is a goalie and one is a dman. Also, Nabakov kicked and screamed but eventually realized he had no leg to stand on. The Visnovsky guy has tried everything under the sun to not come here. It wasnt just one thing.........its now three things. Its getting a bit ridiculous |

He'll get off the island no matter how he plays. He'll score a few goals, but he's not someone thats part of this teams future, so why waste our time. I'd rather a kid like hickey to be honest, who's chomping at the bit to get in the show. At least you know he'll bleed for ya.. - kindlyrick
this Hickey deal, although some will jump on me for it, intrigues me and lessens the blow if LV doesnt show up (or shows up unmotivated)
but again, if he plays i do think hell play balls to the wall bc hes playing for a contract. |

How is different outside of the position they play????? Nabby wanted no part of the isles just like vis doesn't. Its the same exact thing. matter of fact nabby sat out half a year rather then go to the isles, so you could make a case that nabby was more of a dack then vis no? |

Is Nabby like that now? - Vukota
No, he's not I agree but that doesn't change the circumstances that happened before he accepted his situation. Me, personally, wouldn't want this chump on my team whether he can help or not. He fought the trade because of his NTC, he goes to Slovakia to play, says he wants to stay there because it's his home, and now his son is sick and he wants to continue playing in the KHL until he recovers. Enough already. |

No i disagree.........first off, both are d bags. Second off, Nabakov tried to not come but realized he was phucked if he didnt show. Visnovsky didnt just try one thing, he's thrown everything he could at this team to not come. Either way, its 6 of one half dozen of the other. They both suck, and ironically they're both euros SHOCKER |

Nothing would make me happier then both of these clowns showing up and playing great. The Islanders start to actually look like they were playoff bound and trading them both for something decent... picks, prospect, or player. Then bring one of the kids up.. Poulin, Donovan, to take their place... see ya. |

I've said from the beginning I agree but I'm just playing devils advocate. If vis came here and scored the game winning goal to get us into the playoffs we would all go nuts regardless of what went down. Just like nobody is booing Nabby now the same would happen with vis and you all know it, myself included and I could care less if he comes or not |

agreed, LV has said through his agent numerous times (although none of us believe it) that it has nothing to do with the Isles. At least he's attempting to not burn the bridge. Nabby burnt it down and then some when he refused to report and then actually resigned - if you want to get into it, Nabby looked worse and actually agreed to stay after all that, which make the organization look better IMO.
I think Snow has handled it perfectly. No condemning the player, no public statements that look foolish. Just patiently waiting and now LV looks like he'll report, and who's looked stupid through all of this? The player, not the team.
