I think the Pens will win the division and Crosby will play every game or at most miss 2-4. I have Rangers 2nd & Flyers 3rd. The Rangers are being hyped as Cup favorites which can hurt a team. We'll see how they respond.

The Rangers, Flyers, and Pens will finish within 4 points of one another. One popular line of thought here is that Shero figured there would be a lockout and a shortened season with a condensed schedule, so the signing of Vokoun allows them to not have to overplay MAF, which is what happened last year because Johnson wet the bed every time he thought about michael haley.

Islanders will finish ahead of the Flyers and Devils.

Flyers have NO goaltending and zero depth on defense .

Devils have a man in goal that I respect but better days are way behind him and they have a darned near superstar they need to replace in Parise and that aint happening.

Both the Flyers an Devils have question marks in the wrong areas in a 'sprint to the Cup' season.

Islanders are a very talented young team that I feel have more talent than both the Flyers and Devils. Enough I feel to overcome their shortcomings.

If Vis does play our top 4 is not so bad. Streit Vis is a solid top two and Hamonic and MAcdonald are both very good young dmen that can hold their own. I still don't think we make the playoffs though.

but next year the isles will be cometitive... defense is still pourous and injuries to a bailey who looked to be finally turning the corner with 17 pts in his final 19 games isnt too pretty
