BTW: If you look closely. It was a forearm and not a fist that put Ricky down.

Not that it matters.

I wish he would stop playing the puck. He's ALWAYS gotta make that pass. Half the time it goes to the other team.

Nah man, its was a fist that slide off his face..........it made it look like his forearm hit him, but it was def a fist.

I laugh about that fight, cause his arrogance once again shined. Thinks he can fight, with zero fighting experience?? He's a joke

Compensation under 5,040,000 is a first and a third. Don't need a second round pick. Look it up pete

You were saying?

- kindlyrick

I said 5 million instead of 5.04 million. You got me. Good on you.

But if you think that Subban is signing here for less than that then you've gotten a hold of some good $hit.

I was saying if he's going to be as great as you say, he's not taking less than 5.04 mil, especially from the Islanders.

That's where John Tavares comes in...they're good friends...he'd take it....

The worst part about not buying out DP is even as a backup he is going to play at least 20 games and he is gonna lose 16 of them. If the guy can still play a little and be a decent backup it would still be a bitter swallow but at least you can somewhat live with it. The fact they will keep him and he absolutely 100% sucks balls is crazy

Not a good argument. The Habs were rumored to offer him 4 million for 3 years. They said he wanted more time.......5 years. If he's willing to take 4 million over 5 years, he surely would take 5 million from the isles. He won World Juniors with JT. They're boys........if Tavares tells him its not that bad here. im sure he'd listen.

Again, i say, he's boys with Tavares........if the Habs arent willing to go over 4 million, and the isles offer him 5 million, hes coming. Its ALLL ABOUT THE MONEY.

i actually really liked how reinhart looked yesterday, it made me think he could make next years squad. he was very calm defensively and didnt make too many mistakes for his first time "playing an nhl team"
