rolston was taking the hit for one year and getting rid of hunter's two year contract. also helped them make the floor and irritate every Isles fan world wide. No question Subban is worth a heck of a lot more than Rolston, but Rolston contract was hilariously bad. - Isles_since_6
Hence why Snow/Wang loved it |

Point is, if you have the money for Rolston, how do you not have it for Subban? The spending on this team is ridiculous. How many times is Garth gonna say that Wang hasnt given him any restrictions on spending, and then not spend?

This kid is worth a 5 year deal........i mean c'mon. They brought in a 5 million dollar guy last year in Rolston. Are you telling me he was worth that kinda money???? Who's in charge here.........this Subban kid would be the perfect pick up. - kindlyrick
I would love to have Subban.
But they are sitting down again tomorrow to try and figure it out.
Subban does love Montreal... so we would have to see what happens tomorrow.
Rolston was brought in to get rid of Hunter and his 2 year contract.
Rolston was better than Hunter... Not sure what happen to Hunter, he went downhill fast.

He can love Montreal all he wants. I've seen him on TV saying his dad was a huge habs fan. All great stuff........but this game is all about the money, as seen by the lockout. Give this kid what he wants, and lock him up.......its only costing a first and a third. When PK Subban becomes the player he's about to become we can all say "well we coulda had him for 5 million a year" |

I do agree with you, honestly. I'd take subban here on an offer sheet provided it's only one 1st rounder. He'd be an immediate upgrade
I don't see Snow sending out an offer sheet, but I would like to see it. Not disagreeing with you at all, I just don't see it happening.

the fact that Snow could trade rolston and motteau to a playoff team alone should give him consideration for steal of the year. |

I agree with you 1000%
Isles will be a PO contend while they are playing in the Barkley Center.
Yes sir. 1000%.
Say by the 2019-2020 season or so. The 10 yr rebuild is right on schedule. :aah: |

well we do have 25 years in the new building to figure it out. I'm still betting the fat asian kid inherits the team in the next few years. |
