i don't know if anyone has made mention of this and i haven't done my research, but you have to think claude giroux coming off of his one game suspension has to be close to setting a record for most calendar days between games played while serving a 1 game suspension

My prediction for Laughton: he scores the first goal of the season for the flyers. he stays with the team all season and is an effective checker who chips in the occasional and sometimes timely goal or assist. He will have a defined role which is within his capabilities and will do well. Can you tell I'm a half full type guy?

i could see it. hopefully bryz can sharpen up his play, but i expect plenty of odd man rushes both ways

I'm not sure who is more excited for the game me or my 8 year old son who woke up every morning (from sept until the settlement 2 weeks ago) with his first word: "Lockout???" From the day I said "its over"and then said "we have tickets to the opener and its against the pens!!" he has just been on cloud 9.

I just love hockey and this team and to live the passion through the eyes of my son too just makes it all that much better. LETS GO FLYERS!!!!!!

Put me down as scared to death of Luke schenn on a top pairing. I don't care what the name on his jersey says. He was a healthy scratch multiple times last year for the leafs. I am nervous.

i do remember that. sucked they had to give up on him for a rental defenseman, he's only won 2 cups since we traded him.
