Why aren't the Flyers afraid to utilize their rookies (Cooter, Laughton), but Shero won't play Bennett - nhindian
cause then it would take away from the crosby show |

Grossmann knee? - LJF
The way he went into the boards....doesn't leave much other speculation
At least he got off on his own power.... |

I missed it, whahappen? - Marc D
Grossmann slow getting up after careening into the boards awkwardly. Tangled up with someone in white. |

What do you think of the game so far CPF? The tale of 2 periods, for sure - Giroux_Is_God
Definitely. Pens get out to leads, sit back, and lose them. Just like last year. They don't attack enough when they have the lead. Flyers are doing a good job keeping the pressure on.

Because they hope Tangradi will all of a sudden be good. |

I mean...they still have it.
I honestly didn't see this coming from the Flyers. They sure came out as a different team. Wow.
Grossmann back out there. Jesus I'm paranoid |

I can't complain if we see a lot of those kind of periods this year.

I know this has been very sloppy, but there is no such thing as a bad Flyers Pens game. |

Great to see him back out there.
Laughton looks good.
In Bryz we trust |
|

Pretty solid second period, after sleepwalking through most of the first.
Bryzgalov looks very steady. Laughton looks involved on every shift.
Rinaldo playing under control and being physical.
The mobility of the defense certainly appears like it could be an issue. Getting beat to pucks a good amount. |

Rinaldo has been playing his game. Every time he is on the ice he is hitting hard |

I wouldn't call this sloppy as much as merely one team playing a bunch better than the other.
No real bad passes or anything like that standing out or being consistently made. No real ugly goals or pucks bouncing off sticks, ya know?
Your point still stands. Except that 10-3 game in game 4 last year |

Been saying this since last season.
If he plays like this (which is NOT exactly something far fetched) every night, or at least TRIES to play like this every night, he'd be a massively effective energy guy.
Part of this also hinges on the refs calling his game in a fair manner. Can those stupid rep calls |

It's like a tale of two periods.
Do a repeat of that 2nd Flyers, but instead score two.
Traffic on the flower, she'll get rattled if another one goes in. |

If he keeps playing like he has this afternoon the rep will slowly go away. He's been physical and working hard and playing smart. The kid has some talent and great wheels. |

A whole bunch of people overlook this.
He FLIES man...put him on a line with Wellwood and Read and it'd be a flash of orange! |

It shouldn't even have been a penalty to start....looked pretty damn incidental to me |
