thinking a little more about today's game, simmonds played really well...picked right up where he left off from last yr.

I was happy with the game. Sloppy early. Bryz kept it close.
Impressed with L Schenn's game tonight. Maybe him and Kimmo can be a pretty darn good pairing.
Laughton held his own for sure, real active in the o zone with the stick.
Wasnt happy with Couturier, his skating looks much the same as last year and he wound up on the ice a lot. He needs to get stronger.

i think schenn is better offensively as a C, but he's been a liability defensively at this level. he was pretty good at wing w/ briere, though.

I watched a little of that, almost as boring as Jersey/Isles was. Have to appreciate Columbus' effort though, that's a bad team talent wise.

He had a typical Bob game. 4 or 5 dynamite saves and a goal or two that he'd really like to have back.

The 2nd Nashville goal was softer than Bob Dole's Richard after running out of viagra. The first wasn't especially good, either, although considering he moved less than a statue on it, he might have been screened and simply not seen it

The new Blues blogger is dropping alot of F bombs, can't say I've ever seen that before.
