Only if you tell Hartnell he's supposed to eat before and/or after the game, not during.
Good luck folks, it's been a long time coming. - canadianpenfan

Hi everyone.
Excited for hockey, woo!
And Crosby in Philly, what a great way to start... except they aren't showing the game on NBC or Center Ice for us Left Coasters... damn. Fckin Flyers West and their banner raising gets shown instead of the best rivalry in sports.
Any truth to the rumors that they have nicknamed Voracek "Schnitzel" after he came back from the home cooking a few pounds heavier? |

I just ask one thing. Let the kid play and see what happens. There will be plenty of time to judge the player and the trade down the line. - MJL
ok, i'll make the call and release him from custody... |

Who is going to be the first Flyers player scapegoated this Season? I'm not sure which one it will be, But I bet it's a defenseman, or a Goalie! - MJL
Based on watching him for the last number of years and what I've read in here since the trade....
Luke Schenn. |

Yea, I'm not really expecting them to have their checking game in sync. It's going to take some time.

Well, I'm a fan of JJ anyways. I think the accusations of homerism are just a bit exxagerated (but not untrue), but it really doesn't bother me either way. |

I think Luke Schenn will be loved in Philly.
His goofs will be forgiven because of his hits. |

Obviously, a game against the Pens is a great way to start the Season off. But there are so many things that are exciting to see what happens, just with the Flyers. The addition of Luke Schenn. The continued development of Coturier and B Schenn. Getting a look at Laughton. Seeing if Giroux continues to cement his place at the top of the NHL hierarchy. How Bryzgalov plays this Season. A lot of story lines. And I'm sure that the beat writers, bloggers, and columnists have a ton of stuff, that they want to write about. It's going to be great fun. And I remember the last 48 game Season. It was great Hockey. - MJL
I remember Jagr lighting the league on fire on the way to his first scoring title, then I thought to myself, that was 17 years ago and that old bastard is still playing!
It got me wondering, how many current players played the season after that last lockout? Anyone?

I'm a fan of Jonesy, and even Coatsey. The radio crew is also great. I'm perfectly content with the broadcasting crew we have right now. |

Anyone know what Coburn did during the lock out?
Was he playing anywhere?
Hoping to see him take the next step up to becoming our #1 D man.
(maybe a pipe dream to expect him to be a true #1 defenseman, but I think with a more accurate shot he could be there) |

But scratch Iginla and Briere. They were around during the cancelled Season, in 04. But not the shortened 48 game Season back in the 90's. I think Ray Whitney may have been though. |
