I am loving having Hartnell in the box for this pp. Right now Schenn gets a small crack at the top unit, one net presence in front of Miller and I can't stand Hartnell in the middle of the box. He was good last season but I am beginning to doubt a repeat. That is something for Jagr, Gagne or maybe someday Brayden Schenn. Separate Simmonds and Hartnell. Change the pp a little. Last season was last season. I am seeing very little balance on the second unit.

It's the 2nd game of the Season. How can you doubt a repeat of anything? That PP combination was very good last year. And Hartnell was one of the tpp PP goal scorers in the League last year. Absolutely no reason to change that. The 2nd unit simply needs to play better. And Briere is out. And with the game tied at 2-2, I don't know why you would love having one of the best PP goal scorers in the League, not available.

I'd like to see something jump start Schenn. He seems a bit lost on the first line. Too much pressure too soon to produce, perhaps.

Talbot, already gassd tried to score. Failed to get it deep and it turned around the other way with the score. Funny part is Talbot acting like it wasn't his fault.

What's preventing the players on the 2nd unit from going to the net? Has the 2nd unit gotten the puck established in the offensive zone and set it up? Briere will absolutely help the 2nd PP unit.

I agree I want him in the lineup. I always think about that game against Boston last year when we had a bunch of guys out and sestito was running chara and fought lucic. Totally a force all game

As some have pointed out, it is only the second game of the season but I would still like to see more balance on the pp.
