If it's Miller, Sabres fan are all over him. Byrz is playing good. 3 goals in 2 game won't win you any games in the Flyers system. - sbroads24
Miller is a good tender.. No reason to throw him under the bus. People just see a goal on Bryz and say dammit he sucks.. instead of looking at it objectively.. He's had two good games. |

The puck wasn't covered.. ref was not in position to see it and should not have blown the whistle. - Hextall271
Yeah, He was supposed to be behind the net, instead the lummox decided to stay in the corner and blow it dead while it was clearly loose. The ref needs to be behind the net on that one. |

I don't think it's time for panic. This is basically exhibition games but they count and we need to find a way to get some points in the next two games. If we come out with zero in 4 games, this is not good.. - Hextall271
Losing 4 this season is like losing 9 in a row in a normal season. If they would actually lose 10 in a row they'll be in position for a lottery pick although with the new cba all nonplayoff teams get a chance at first overall. Just like jvr' s draft year the flyers can't evenwina race to the bottom |

Also, I am none too impressed so far from Matt Read or Jake V.. Gotta step up boys.. Laughton has been more impressive.. I understand the need to get their timing etc back, but we don't have time.. a 3-6-1 start or something like that could really put us in a bad spot. |

and two losses - 2Real
Yes, but you can't realistically say that the losses have been because of Bryz. It's like saying we lost both games cause Wayne didn't score 2 goals each game..when he's played well |

What are your thoughts on the first called off goal by fedotenko? I think Miller flopped a bit. Should have counted. - Hextall271
Miller came out of his crease and put his glove on Fedetenko. Fedetenko wasn't even in the crease. It was a garbage call but what can you do about it? |

I never like to blame the refs cause thecalls normally even out, but today was rought. Happens, but we need a good effort Tuesday.. a blowout in NJ will put us against it heading against a team we haven't beaten in forever.. |

I agree with everyone else who saw that play who said it should have counted, including the "experts" at NBC. |

Goalie interference....yet, Tyler Myers got called for interference for pushing him into Miller. - Jsaquella
He made 0 attempt to try and avoid Ryan. That's why that was called. He could have done a better job not running into Miller IMO. |

Miller should've gotten an unsportsmanlike for playing dead after that hit. Not arguing the rest. |

You never know how the complexion would've changed. That goal counts, the game still doesn't necessarily end 5-3. |

I understand why he got the call. But, I've always found sending both players on a play like that to be kind of spineless, making sure the calls even up.
It is what it is, an isolated play in the course of the game. |

Wow..I completely disagree about Bryz. Goal 1 was a slapshot from the low slot, goal 2 was a break away, goal 3 went off timo's leg on a pp shot deflected and goal 4 was basically kicked in... - Hextall271
wellon the breakaway goal he went down and didn't even make an attempt to slide his reaction was the wrong one and way to early on the hodgson goal keep your skate on the post like a goalie is supposed to and it dosnt go in now i am not saying it was all his fault the defencive break down s and complete lack of presure on the PK had alot to do with it .... how ever good goalies find ways to make the tuff saves find ways to keep their team in the game and i didnt see that from Bryz today when they went down 3-2 a goalie finds away not to let that next goal in they come up big for there team .... Bryz did not do that today... yesterday he did he gave them a chance to win yesterday he did not give them a a chance to win today |
