Losing Rinaldo did hurt. He's been seeing more minutes and has played well for the Phantoms and in the opener vs Pittsburgh. - Jsaquella
They could've used his energy.

McGinn played today for the Phantoms. I guess they mean from after the game. - MJL
Yeah, he didn't come home with the team...she's guessing he's going to Philly to cover if Rinaldo is out |

Yea. But now it's reported he has the chicken pox. |

I'd take PK on the Flyers in a minute, they could use his offense from the blue line.
Doubt it will happen, but I would love it. - Marc D
honestly it's not like i study him of course but i think his d kinda sucks |

plays the most minutes on a terrible team and is about an even +/- at what, age 22? Cannon of a shot, good speed, and can hit. I think the only glaring negative is he lets his temper get the better of him imo.
Thought this was a good breakdown

granted - being the best player on MTL is kinda like being the tallest midget |

He's a top talent. He's raw in some areas where you would expect a 22 year old defenseman to be.

With Edler signing for $5M a year, PK should not get more then that.
6.25 seems high, but dumber things have happened. - Marc D
I wouldn't offer Subban $6.25 a year, but I'd certainly talk to Montreal about acquiring him as I'm sure the Flyers and a lot of other teams are. Definately room for a yound Dman on the roster for the right price. Other teams can probably offer more, but who knows.
Always look to improve, that's a GM's job no matter how big or small as long as it adds to the long term viablity of the club. Not a year they should go all in on, IMO. |

PK can be a bit of a punk, but maturity issues aside, he's got a ton of skill and potential. He's got scary speed and offensive instincts. Good passer and shot. He'll get better defensively as he matures and avoids taking the risks that are too long. |

Look at how far our of position DVM was on this call. Didn't hustle for better look, Took 1 lazy stride and waved off.
Now, while I'm a bit upset at the call, it's not why they Flyers lost. - Jsaquella
This bugged the poop out of me. You're right, it's not why they lost, but having multiple goals taken away on poor officiating definitely doesn't help. |

Man, know you guys are making me want to find a way to make a deal for him. He'd be a nice fit using Pronger's LTIR.
How bad is Bourdon's noggin? It really can't be good to have this many head issues this young. Is he done? |

Holmgren said a few days ago that he was a couple weeks away from skating. But take that with a grain of salt. |

I wouldn't count on MAB until next season at the earliest, if the Flyers follow Dr Karen Johnston's guidelines. She feels players should sit out one day for every day they have had symptoms, so in a case like Bourdon, who has had symptoms for 6 months or so, he should be out for at least another 6 months. |

It's a bit early to start worrying about getting a good return for Kimmo Timonen. Besides, we all know if the Flyers are 3-7 at the 10 game mark, there will be moves to address it. - Jsaquella

He just needs to walk away from hockey for a while. No doctor, but just look at Primo and Pronger and be cautious. Not worth your brain. Ever see Jim MacMann from the Bears. Damn shame. sad. |
