everyone gets it.

are u under the impression that scoobs' neverending sarcasm with nothing of value to say EVER, except to troll people, is incredibly deep and clever?

im down with banter all the time on here, and he gets a chuckle once in awhile..but it gets pretty tired and boring

Clearly everyone didn't get it, as the amount of posts on how ridiculous it is to have a Stanley Cup loser ring are epic.

Still no word if Schroeder is being called up like many assume?

Garrison will be fine and has played well in the 2 games. He'll get his goals with that cannon of a shot. I agree with him and Edler being split up as they are both the best offensive weapons on D and splitting them up would create more chances and goals.

The real issue is scoring. When Ebbett is your 2nd line C you have a big problem. I don't care what many haters say but this team needs a healthy Kesler and Booth ASAP if Gillis isn't working on a trade for more offense.

Yakupov should not be in the NHL. He's going to get run over and injured like hall and RNH. Oilers need to smarten up on how they handle young players.

Should trade him for a goalie. You can never have too many goalies. That way you can hype one up as having more value than the 1st overall pick and then pull him early in his first game and play your backup the next game instead. Van handles it's players so well. Good to see Van fans sharing tips with the rest of the league.

I'd consider Luongo + Raymond for Yakupov and Horcoff

Put down the scooby snacks. No one requests Horcoff in a trade. We try to slip him in there somehow to you.

Predictions on St. L and Nashville tonight, I have both goalies and Scrivins, who's starting against Buffalo?

I'd have definitely listed Luongo as one of your three stars. That said, I understand your disappointment with Hemsky's goal.

I thought your defense was mostly good. Hamhuis in particular was very effective at times. Good things just stopped happening when the puck went near him.

I'm also inclined to be less critical of Edler and Luongo getting beaten by Eberle, and more impressed with Eberle for managing to beat Edler and Luongo on the same rush. That was a damn fine play from a guy who is soon going to be one of the top 20 players in the world!

Good game by both squads though! I'm stoked the Oilers played you guys as well as they did!

Eberle is a damn good player. I think in the end he will be the best of all the young Oilers. I'm worried the World Juniors had a bad impact on RNH. He'll bounce back though.
At least it's fun to play against the Oilers again.

Yeah, I have Halak Starting. I could guarantee a win with Rinne as well, but I think I'll take a chance on Scrivins, maybe the leafs can keep it a low scoring game.

I love this time of the season....it's when the oilers and leafs fans talk the most smack and you guys think this is the year you make the playoffs.

Kaberle could actually produce while Subban is out, Souray had a good game the other night. In the end it doesn't matter much, if he doesn't work out drop him for another guy, the fringe players will all get hot and cold throughout the year.

You can't let us have our 48 hours of hope, optimism and delusional grandeur?

Really, Vantel?

Leafs will lose 6-2 to the Sabres tonight, and everything will be right again in your little Leaf-hating world.

You can't just let us run wild in your thread today?

It's all we have, really.

Halak is confirmed for tonight. thanks to Hitchcock's sh!tty style STL don't look like they'll ever let in a goal, so good for fantasy owners.

BUF looks really good right now. I wouldn't read too much into the win over MTL. But that's just me.

I might try Zidlicky (running the point on PP1 with Kovy and Zajac). Brewer had a good game the other, Don Cherry's a fan, and TB can score.
