How good is Brayden Schenn anyway? I watched parts of the PHI-PIT game and saw he laid down some heavy hits but not much else. It's one game of course. I'm just curious because he was touted as the "best player not in the NHL" a couple years ago and seems to have been outshone by Couturier and to a lesser extent Read.

Actually, I thought it went beside it. I didn't think it was a great goal, but having played net I know how it goes. Hemsky's fake forced Lu to commit, It wasn't the worst goal out there.

It wasn't a Luongo trade question but a side question on Schenn's progress. This is his 2nd NHL season so he can't be considered a prospect anymore. I just get the impression that the billing may not be living up to the hype but I could be wrong.
