Thought he was a Richard in the locker room? And our ginger quota has been met! - Flyersgod
Who knows about the locker room stuff but you have a point about the gingers. |

jones will get mono and we'll draft him late in round 1 - Don'tForgetTocchet
or late in the top 10 after the Flyers trade Voracek to the Senators for a 1st. |

Without a doubt. Perry would be a much better option than Ryan as well because of his two way play, not to mentioned he scored 50 goals a couple of years ago. - NickTheKid87
Yup, however thinking about the cap situation...To bring in Perry, it'd almost for sure involve buying out Briere. $6.5/yr is probably about what he'd command in FA if not more, so at best, that's a wash. Plus the cap is going down what $5-6 mil? So no possible D upgrade and you'd have to shed more salary elsewhere I'd imagine. But this is without looking at capgeek so I'm just spouting off the top of my head |

I think it's vital that the Flyers focus on getting a top defenseman before shelling out assets to get a luxury like Ryab. If we need forward help, I'd rather take that need to free agency or let a favorable deal come to us. - BulliesPhan87
I wonder if any top dmen will even be available..
Trade for weber next year? |

Your wonder is my worry. However, it's difficult to see. Always in motion is the future. |

I'd like to target the ads on the end glass on the Flyers broadcast. Jeez. Wish they could have worked that out in the CBA. |

I felt this way before seeing Timonen play his first two games. I think we will survive a short season with Timonen as our number one. Personally I think getting someone as offensively savvy as Giroux is equally as important as getting a top defenseman. |

I mean the season isn't over. Breathe. But what I'm most disappointed with is how slow Couterier and B. Schenn look. It almost looks like the guys that played elsewhere are struggling the most to adjust. Matt Read played great overseas, but is quickly finding the moves that work there don't work here.
I'm willing to move assets for P.K. Subban. Laughton and pieces or a first and pieces. He is exactly what the Flyers need. Speed, passing, powerplay QB. It's a move they absolutely need to make. |

I'd go after a guy like Mark Streit first if he hits free agency or trade for a defenseman and see where the team stands from there. Then make a potential run at Perry. |

I think one of Shelley or Sestio should be playing. Why have these guys on the roster if they're not gonna use them? It's a division game, it could get physical, get a physical guy out there. - SuperSchennBros
Shelley doesn't bring a ton to the table. He's responsible defensively, but he's also slow and brings no offense. Dressing him basically means that they're playing shorthanded.
I wouldn't be adverse to Sestito, but he's not Rick Tocchet or Paul Holmgren coming off the bench. |

I agree that we can survive short term, but I definitely don't agree getting Giroux a winger is tantamount. |
