Ya know....Giroux is terrible. He's been one of our worst players in the last 2 years or so. Have you even watched him? I absolutely hate him. All he does is pass. He had like 65 assists last year compared to only about 30 goals. And don't even get me started about the example he leads with as a Captain. Did you see that unsportsmanlike conduct penalty??

Now you are just being a jackass. You can't sit there and honestly say that you have been happy with how Timonen has played the last two years. He is nearly as slow as Grossmann. He is ZERO threat from the point on the powerplay. The play with Kovalchuck today was a virtual replay of at least 5 or 6 plays last year where he forces the play and has no speed to recover. To top it off he is making over 6MM. I'm not discrediting the player Kimmo WAS for this team, but the player he IS now is part of the defensive problem, not part of a future solution.

If this play continues this season, I want to be serious sellers at TDL. With the salary coming off the books the next couple years, we can rebuild fast through draft and free agency. And send Laughton back too, so you don't waste an ELC year for this shortened season.

Keep Laughton trade counts lol

He is deteriorating though. His play has been sloppy this year so far.

Yep.. If we start the year like 1 and 9 there very well may be changes..
