If he is moved he has said he will just retire. He will not move to Calgary.

He has a total of 5 months remaining on his contract. He'll have to put his big boy pants on and deal with the situation if it arises.

i am not "worried" but i think we need to put his rookie season behind us. he needs to be better.

Yes, it does. The logic is you draft a big, dynamic center. You don't do that to make him a winger, even for a couple games. Right now it doesn't matter who he is playing with. The Sabres need to see if he can hack it with the big boys. Oh, he also had the best face-off % against the Leafs so taking a guy who is getting better at face-offs out of the circle is a bad idea. IMO.

Yea he needs to step up, let's just remember also how aggressive he was after he got benched last year, he came back got suspended for the hit on Zubrus then proceeded to get injured twice. I'm willing to write off last season completely for half of our lineup, they were a mess as a whole for half the year.

Oh yes I understand he has no choice but he has let management know he will retire if they trade him so that kind is a deal breaker if you know what I mean.
