I do too, but you have to get players that both improve the talent level and fit the personnel you already have. Ott is a good example of that. I don't think Jokinen is. He's very talented, but his style, and sometimes lackadaisical work ethic just won't mesh with what they have right now. Now, there are players that are just so talented that you simply just make it work if you have the opportunity to get him. However, Jokinen isn't one of them.

I respectfully disagree, I think he would be a valued addition to the team with what he brings. Maybe Lindy is the one that needs to change.

If the Gringo gets sent down, we are one injury away from Hecht being our second line center. We do not have anything close to an NHL ready center in the AHL (other then for a game or two). The Gringo is tearing it up in Quebec, last thing he needs to do is go back there now and learn bad habits IMO

I like the idea of Scott for a few games but with the short season we may just want a guy that can generate chances. And he11, we have Boom Boom Stafford to do the heavy work.

T.J. Brennan has served as a healthy scratch for Buffalo's first two games of 2013.
He has to clear waivers to go back down to the minors, so the Sabres are keeping him around for now. Mike Weber is also waiting to make his season debut. The two of them could see action when the Sabres play three games in four nights to close out this week.

Hecht needs to be on the 4th line.. I think he is a decent player and has a spot on this team.. but that spot is on the 4th line. Gringo will do nothign if he has Hecht or kaleta on his line.

With Roy gone we might actually see a different Leino this year. Maybe less Vodka means more focus...It works for me in my job so one can hope it will work for him!
