I get it. You don't hate Ryan Miller the hockey player. You are sick of the "idea" of Ryan and what he means to the fan base.

Here's the problem:

When Miller has a bad game, all the people who don't like him come out of the woodwork.

When he has a good game, all the people who love him come out of the woodwork.

Either way, it's irritating.

Like I said last night, IMO it's our defense and always our defense, I don't think Miller has changed much since the Olympics. Look how good he has been when we are not giving up breakaways and 2 on 1's, I also don't want to hear about the disallowed goal or the 1's that hit the crossbar, that's every goalie every team. Miller has bad games no doubt about it, but he is not average IMO, this team has been average.

I'd say yes.

3 from the Southeast and only 2 from the Atlantic if things keep playing out the way they are and they quite possibly could.

I think Torts is on a short leash in the Big Apple, anyone else think this? Flyers achilles heel still between the pipes?

Teams have played a max of 2 games. It's too early to say based on the small sample size.

I never thought I'd see Philly and the Rangers in the bottom 2 of the league, but right now, that's the case.

I don't expect to see them finish there though.

My point is, if I go out on the weekend and drink myself stupid, come Monday I still feel the affects of it and don't do as well at work. If I don't go out, come Monday I am on my game!

They are aging on the blueline with Ference, Chara, Seidenberg all being 31+. There forwards are relatively young though with Seguin being a stud

You need to drink more.

So Winnipeg gets a loser point last night and Boston gets 2 for winning the shootout but we win in regulation and get the same 2pts. In this truncated season the OT/SO games are going to have more of an effect than ever before. The NHL really needs to revisit this system and maybe give the loser ZERO if they lose no matter how the outcome came to be. I would even go as far as to say the winner of the shootout should only get 1pt., winning in regulation needs to be more valuable.
