It really is a cruel joke that the year the Flyers sucked they got shafted and did not get a franchise type player in the draft. Just unreal.

Firing Lava is a joke imo.

Switching to a defensive minded system, or the trap with that rag tag crew on D will somehow improve this team? The forwards in general are below average defensively. It just seems like people want to make a change, just to win a few games.

The Flyers would not have won jack poop this season anyway. The D needs to be re-done and some snarl/leadership infused into the offense.

For years the Flyers have made knee-jerk reactions. For once, one god damn time dont do it. The players on this team are a weird mix and just not that good. Thats the number one problem.

When things go south, they panic.

Keeping the gap tight between the Forwards and Defense is basic Hockey. Something that is taught in Pee Wee Hockey on up.

not sure how you got this from Nutter's post? I thought he was saying the Flyers should stay-the-course. Make adjustments over time to build a good team. Don't just blow it up or make a desperation move like they have a tendency to do.

The knee jerk reaction is not from the Flyers. But from posters going overboard and overreacting to a team that simply isn't playing well. 45 games left in the Season.
