Kessel is gonna score tomorrow for sure. Your defense is suspecccttt!

Gonna be a good game for sure. Leafs are always good for a letdown after a huge win. Especially on a back to back with travel

Tavares likes sniping in the ACC too.

If Jamie Benn Is available in a trade would this be enough or too much: Okposo, Nino, Ness and a second round pick

....yeah....especially the last one....if we could trade one player in exchange for a coach who could get through to this bunch that "defense" doesn't require nearly the amount of skating around in circles all over the rink that they put into it, it'd probably be worth it...

PS- I'm not THAT afraid of Toronto, just yet- the "great" (according to Vegas) Penguins are the same as they were last year: an offensive powerhouse that is sh*t defensively (see "Philadelphia" in your media guide)....which is why they win one game 6-3, and lose the next 5-2, and it doesn't matter who they play. The "battle of Pennsylvania" in the playoffs last year was the worst playoff series I ever watched in my life. Watching those two teams play defense was like watching Notre Dame try to stop Alabama from running the football....like a train wreck, after the ambulances are gone...

That's still not nearly as bad as Roberto Luongo and Olli Jokinen.....for Короткий Автобус and Mark Parrish, who skates like I do with socks on.....you'd think, of all things, that someone running THIS franchise would know enough not to make a trade with Bill Torrey..

By the way....those Russian words roughly translate to English as "short bus"....he represented a whole new level of useless, and that phrase was always about as close as I could come to describing it..

PS- Hamilton is going to be an absolute beast. Sure as I am that Strome is going to be the real deal....I still think I'd have reached for that one, or traded down a few pegs.....

It's not suspect....it's cr*p.....and it sure looks like a coaching issue, in my eyes.....considering the NJ Devils can bring pretty much anyone in off the street, and have them understand the concept as if they've been in the league for 20 years...just saying...

Our saving grace thus far has been the guy between the pipes....if 39 plays, it could very well be a disaster of unmitigated proportions...

Neither will end up as good as Kessel so what's the point?

Isles don't have a 2nd round pick because they traded it for Visnovski. I would work on the defense first and see what it would take to get Subban. The reason is if you get a good young defenseman, you don't have to rush Reinhart, Mayfield, Pedan etc...

He's probably going to start one of the next three games. Either tonight or tomorrow in Boston I would think.

The leafs in their short 3 games so far seem to be playing more of a team defense game than I've seen them do under Wilson. Maybe it's because Carlyle actually matches lines and coaches, I dunno.

The leafs usually disappoint pretty hard in nights after they surprise us with wins so I'll keep my expectations low for this game, especially since I have a feeling JT is going to have his first big game of the season against us.

The Leafs have the ability to make the average, back up goalie look like Terry Sawchuk..

better translation. So for those who still think this was entirely the agent and Nino didn't have anything to do with it:

Q: “Was the request for of a trade your idea or Nino’s?”
A: “It was solely mine and I told Nino how I will proceed and that I take the responsability for it. This is not a hasty action. I have deliberated that step and asked several sides for advice.”

Nino wants his NHL money, his agent wants his cut. Nino can sit on the farm all season without a shot with an attitude like that. The agent is trying to do his job and deflect the blame from Nino, who knew what he was going to do and didn't stop him. You're ruining your chances at getting a shot Nino, shut up and play.

even tho some are not fan favorites of KO (including me) but he has put up similiar numbers to Benn and are both around the same age, adding Nino is over-payment

Dallas needs D help, they are small so Ness would not do it,

Lupul broke his arm last night and Komi didn't play again after getting rocked by Kunitz... will be interesting to see what Carlyle does with JVR and Frattin (assuming he gets the call).
