Shelley tuned Rupp up real good in the last Ranger/Philly game last April, think score was settled then.

It was more of a comment on how bad Shelley and Sestito are at fighting, not that Rupp is all that special. That, and the fact that the last time Sestito fought wearing a Flyers jersey he injured himself and had to leave the game.

Agree that Simmonds is our best fighter, but I think he's overmatched against the true heavyweights. He's game though, that's for sure. I love that guy.

Sestito has the balance of a newborn deer when he fights. Shame really because he's huge and should be a good fighter.

I think what makes Simmonds so tough to fight is his balance and leverage. He only weighs 180 lbs, so it's not like he's going to just overpower guys. He's just really hard to knock off balance and throws a heavy punch for his size.

dam, just not pumped about tonights game at all, i think bryz has been the best player on the team so far.

He is being quite magnanimous. Shelley and Rupp did fight in April, and I would agree that Shelley won a decision. I think I'd stop short of calling it a "tune up".

Although I guess any fight Shelley walks away from without having to get his faced stitched up is a big win for him.
