no excuses, the flyers outplayed the rangers, clean. back to back games, this early in the season, is a sorry excuse for NYR. they look horrible, out of the gate and the flyers hard work paid off tonight.

I hear you! Don't worry, the Rangers will be right there at the end. Too good of a lineup. Just early Season bugs.

He did that last night vs Boston, too.

Loved the way Flyers rolled four lines; all of which contributed tonight.

- bmeltzer

Every line did their job, too. The 4th line did a great job of eating minutes effectively to ensure the othe lines didn;t get overworked.

the 4th line was a breath of fresh air tonight.

sometimes a little less skill and a little more physicality and emotion can be a good thing.

For Frank, solid reporting that avoids the TMZ aspect is like his Watergate

I skate at seven, yeah, and go to work with my line.
I got no time for livin'.
Yes, I'm workin' all the time.

It seems to me
I could live my life
A lot better than as a PK man.
I guess that's why they call me,
They call me the Workin' Man.

the flyers next dman may be more obscure than john rutsey...

Laughton made a nice little move in the Rangers zone in the third period and got the shot blocked.

Put Knuble with Laughton & Brayden Schenn and you got a nice line, with a built in nickname: the Old Man and the Teens

Flyers need to play the theme song from MASH when they take the ice.

itll def come together for NYR. there's an adjustment period...esp when breaking in new star talent. it's between NYR, BOS and PIT for the ECF, imo.

I'm as big a fan of Knoobs as the next guy...but my goodness, the man is slower than Delmon Young.

Columbus is trying to make Bob feel at home by playing the same kind of defense the Flyers did last year.

Ok, it's PIA again on the cap and LTIR:

Are the player salaries prorated for 48 games or are they making their full salary over 48 games?

I guess were gonna see how much he has left. I was as big a fan of Knuble as anyone. But I don't know about this. It's a warm healthy body.
