I'd rather not have to use LTIR, if possible. Right now, they aren't using LTIR at all, even with Knuble.

Im going to make a conservative guess and say 2 weeks... minimum. The way he skated off with his arm hanging, and the fact that he was in a sling.. to me suggests either a separation or dislocation.. I just hope he didnt trash his labrum or worse.

I think it's safe to say that it's not going to be day to day. We'll see how bad it is. Hopefully it's not really bad. And if it is, then they'll deal with it. I just feel bad for Meszaros. He can't catch a break with injuries lately.

It's not a bad idea. Not sure what kind of shape Gags is in. He had a tumor removed from his neck over the summer, so who knows if he's ready to be more than a spare part? At $3.25mm they have other needs.

I'm just going to assume Meszaros died and then anything else will be optimistic.

Its a shame really.. I thought he was our best d-man by far so far this season. I expected him to be rusty as hell.. but looked great. I pray he just separated his shoulder and is ok. We wont ever know though.

I like what Knuble brings to the locker room, but unfortunately.. i feel he is a bit over the hill playing wise. As long as he can do a serviceable job defensively I will be happy. Gagne would make me happy just because he has always been a reliable 2 way forward. He could realistically play any line as well.

I personally thought Foster was terrible. Gervais has certainly surprised me though. He made a couple of really heads up plays last night.. I was a doubter, but so far he has been impressing me.

Gervais is fairly mobile. He played better than advertised. I would assume Foster will re-enter the lineup in place of Meszaros. Sure would be nice if Gustafsson or MAB were ready to play.

Foster played better than I expected. Granted, my expectations were exceedingly low. I like Gervais. He's been a good, solid third pair guy for awhile. He has to be limited, but as long as his minutes and matchups are watched, he's solid.
