Yes, sometimes when guys on here get PWNED by me they just resort to sarcasm to try joke it off. Usually their sarcasm is unfunny and makes them look pretty silly. Stick around long enough and you'll see what I mean.
- hankthetank

So who owned you to bring out the Kassian sarcasm? Yea, ive seen what you mean by the unfunny sarcasm that makes people look silly. No need to stick around. Ive formed my conclusion.

Enjoy your evening.

I think it gets pretty sad when you have to come on here and bring up something that happened almost 10 years ago to make your t eam look moraly supperior.

Then what are your thoughts about bringing up something that happened 46 years ago to try make your team look superior?

If you're talking about Kassian I think he could easily break 50 goals over a full 82 games schedule. If he continues to play with the Sedins I wouldn't be surprised if he pushes the 65-70 goal mark over an 82 game season. CODY WHO!?!?
- hankthetank

Why stop there? Lets extend the season so Kickassian can score 100. Let's name a milestone after him. The Kickassiantrick when you score more goals than you have teeth in 1 game.

Hopefully you're not in Airdrie or Cochran, because all that will do is get you time off work (without pay) for the sprained ankle.

All Kassian has to do for a Kickassiantrick would get 2 goals then.

I like the scene behind the Hotel Macdonald / conference centre but it's been a while since I've been there so I can't remember if it would be a good launching point or not. Not a lot of traffic I guess. There's a pretty busy bridge to the west I remember. Down hill and curved, with big fences?

Quesnell bridge maybe?

Not really. You were just mad because he owned the Canucks and everybody else so thoroughly and easily in those days.
- sanfordnson

Yes really, the Oilers had an unbelievably talented team, back then I had a lot of respect for Kurri, Gregg, Lowe, MacT, Messier, Tikkanen, but with all his talent Gretzky was a crybaby and I always wished someone would have pasted his tearyeyed face into the glass...but with Semenko standing as protector that wasn't likely to happen.

MASSIVE let down I agree, but at least the Oilers had already won two cups in the previous two years AND THEN went on to win another three in four years.

Five cups in seven years, hardly a let down.

- As_I_See_It

As an Oilers fan all of those years I will say this: Had it not been for the Edmonton Oilers, the Calgary Flames would likely have 4or5 more cups. Those two teams were BOTH incredible. There is so much more parity in the league today. Except for the Canucks of course...they are sooooooooo amaaaaazing. lol

It's to bad that Hockeybuzz didn't exist back then, all hockey fans would know how arrogant and annoying Oiler and Flame's fans were when they were good.

Its hard not to be annoying and arrogant when your team is amazing. So easy to pick on the weak. Which in the case of said Oiler and Flame's teams, was every other team not in Alberta.
